Watkins Glen is a little town, but the natural splendor of the Finger Lakes region is where the true attractions lie. The Olympic-sized pool, gorge tours in the summer, campgrounds, picnic spaces, and more make Watkins Glen State Park a great place to spend a day or more. Seasonal visitors may hike the two-mile Gorge Trail, which passes through the mist of Cavern Cascade and winds over and beneath waterfalls.
